The Golden Viper Lounge or more casually known as, the Lounge, is a cigars and hostess bar located in Ul'dahs bustling residental area.
Categorized as a mid to high price end local, the Lounge has existed under several different owners for around a decade now, recently falling into the hands of a woman known simply as Lady Viper. The place is primarily known of its wonderful drinks, sweet cigars, hookahs and of course, beautiful women. Staffed, guarded and upheld only by women of various different races, it provides relaxing and elegant backdrop for merchants and the common folk alike to spend a night in.However, a rumor has it that the soft glamour, honeyed smiles and smooth jazz atmosphere veils something much more sinister.

"Are the criminal shenanigans required?"
- No! You character can be or not to be perfectly law biding person. This is all up to you!"Do I have to join an FC to work there?"

- Staff profiles, days when we plan to open, resources and organizing stuff! You also get to have a better look at the Lounges lore and connect with the other players.“Why only females? That’s SEXISTS SCREEE”
- This has to do with The Lounges lore more than anything, which I originally modeled after Moxes from Cyberpunk 2077. Since then the place has changed a lot of course, but the original concept of all female staff and ownership stayed.“Do I’ve to be a female irl too then?”
- No. That’s silly :V As long as your character identifies as a female we gucci. Gender-fluid or trans are perfectly fine too, as long as your character is female presenting.“Why 18+?”
- Well, most importantly, it’s a bar. A Japanese styled hostess/snack bar with a 1920s twist to be exact. This means the Lounge has heavy criminal undertones, implied violence and adult themes which can get spicy. And I won’t take responsibility for traumatizing a kid.“So is this… (whispers) an ERP place???" ⊙ᴗ⊙
- No. And I’ll personally come after you and your RP privileges if I see any of that in my place >:U Such services can be implied ofc as that’s the nature of the bar, but that’s not the focus of RP in the Lounge. We aim to keep things classy and tasteful, as even the slightest sexual themes tend to attract certain kind of crowds. Which we wish to avoid. We are here for the flavour, not the act itself.“What's the point then?”
- Provide a lore friendly version of ‘night worker’ places without breaking any guidelines. “Pillow Houses”, exotic dancers and the like are a solid part of the Eorzeans entertainment world (even though the game is rated T ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )) so it would make sense for such an RP avenue to exist too for those looking for it. Also, I personally really like 1920s speakeasy and old school Japanese snackbar aesthetics.

Rules

  • No weapons inside the Lounges walls. Please leave those outside or in the loving care of our staff before entering.

  • No violence or harassment of any kind towards the staff or the patrons. (note; Lady Viper reserves the right to judge what she counts as such and the nature of action that has to be taken toward such behavior).

  • No touching the staff unless said services has been agreed and paid for.

  • The Golden Viper and her girls reserves the rights to deny any and all services if any of the rules above has found been broken.

  • The Golden Viper does not take responsibility of any harm coming to the customers outside its walls.

OOC rules and warnings

  • RP in the Lounge can get spicy in some cases and so the Golden Viper is strictly 18+, IC and OOC.

  • Note, that while the Golden Viper is heavily adult themed place, WE DO NOT PROVIDE ERP, paid or otherwise. None of that in the public chats or I'll personally come for your head. This includes directly asking for any other kind of sexual services as well, such as lap dances or/and stripping. We are themed as a hostess club, NOT a strip club or a pillowhouse.

  • However, some RP can and likely will imply violence, shady dealings and not so subtle references to sexual services. You have been warned.

  • Always, ALWAYS ask permission from the staff if you wish to start bigger shit. This includes trying to damage the property of the Lounge, its staff or people/your chaeacter during opening hours.

  • This should go without saying but do remember, what happens IC stays IC. Do not take staffs flirting or RP actions personally, in good or bad.

  • No harrasment of any kind towards the staff or other players. Do NOT try to low or high key preassure the staff into rp our rules don't allow or their character/player clearly isn't interested in. Talk to your RP partner(s) and be honest about your own feelings too. It's okay not to want for example, conflict RP or vice versa. Do not feel pressured to go either way. No one likes a stalker or a creep and player consent is the key. Always. If you're unsure, ask the player in question via /tell.

  • However if you are planning to, for example, punch another character in the face, be ready to be punched back, and suffer the consequences of it. Like in real life, do not expect violence, bad manners etc. go down without a similar reaction back. Long story short; do not do anything to other characters you are not willing to suffer yourself.

  • Obligatory no Godmoding (your character doesn't take damage/ignoring actions harmful to your character/reputations etc.), no Gaslighting (saying something didn't happen while it clearly did) and no Power/Metagaming (your character suddely knows thing they should not/is all powerful etc.). If any of these terms are new to you, I would highly recommend googling them <3

  • Basically just don't be a dick even if your character might be. Keep it civil and we can all have a good time together! Love yall :)

  • For the comfort and work safety of our the staff, we reserve the right to report you to the RPC admins and blacklisting you IC and OOC, if we find you breaking any of these rules more than twice after the first warning, in or out the game.
